This study was conducted about the gender diversity of engineering academic staff at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal. It does, however, provide information the top universities in the country concerning the same subject matter. In all universities, the female staff do not exceed a much needed 50% of the academic staff. This needs to change as this is the first view of the diversities in engineering that most students will have.
